FUCKED UP FAMILY
Something has happened in my family that I'm hesitant to discuss here, but I'm busting at the seams to talk about my feelings and fears regarding this. This has been going on for about 2 years, but legally just came to a close today. It's twisted, it's WRONG, it's scaring the crap out of me as I worry about my kids: past, present and future. I can't talk about this with anyone in the family, which makes it that much more difficult to wrap my brain around and make sense of something so terrible. Am I the enemy if I talk about this, publicly or private, or would bringing it up help me put my thoughts and fears into perspective? I dunno. What would you do?

If you have a problem it's best to get it out in the open. It may hurt everyone involved, but it's better than secrets, and allowing yourself to be ensnared into something you don't like.
You have to be able to live with yourself, and believe me I'm speaking from first hand knowledge when it comes to I wish I had known a secret about someone, before, it slopped over onto my daughter and me.
I've discovered making and dealing with these kinds of decisions,is like lancing a boil:
It hurts like hell.
It has to be done.
The crap has to come out into the open.
Then the healing can begin.
Use this place as your outlet; you have caring friends here and you even have some family that still cares.
I'm here for you.
You know me, Zette. My Life is an open book. Being transparent helps me lead an honest Life. But I will respect your decision either way.
Well, if it were me, i think i would try to find someone impartial to tell. Someone who will not judge you, someone you feel you can trust.
If it's something that you feel will effect your kids then i personally would tell someone.
if it would make you feel better, I think you should talk about it. :)
